The Lukang Dragon Boat Festival kicks off in Changhua this weekend. Having its origins as a folklore festival from 1978, the Lukang Dragon Boat Festival is a major festival of traditional Taiwanese culture.

Throughout the month are dragon boat races, markets with gourmet foods, handicrafts and much more. It is also listed as one of the “12 Major Festivals in Taiwan.”
